Here is the full list of requirements and actions to do for the organization of a regatta that can be listed in the Europa Cup Trophy or an European Championship. Here below you’ll also find the logos of EurILCA and Europa Cup.
To organize an Europa Cup you must contact your district officer, read the Guideline and after checked if you can comply with requirements, fill the bid form. That procedure must be completed before end of April of the previous year you want to organize a regatta. The bid form must be approved by the District. Once approved the agreement template will be fill and once signed, the regatta has been allocated. Than we will be happy to add your regatta in the Europa Cup Notice of Race.
A person, defined as “Organizing Committee Contact Person” (OCCP) will be encharged by the Sailing Club to be the contact with the Eurilca – Europa Cup – secretariat. He will be allowed to enter information in the website and to made all activities for entries and results management. He must be a little familiar with the computers.
To organize an European Championship you must contact your district officer, read the requirements; after checked if your organization can comply with requirements, fill the bid form. The bid form must be approved by the District, collected and sent to the EurILCA office. This documentation will be distributed to all district officers at next European Annual General Meeting and voted for the approval. That procedure must be made 3 years in advance.
