2017 Laser Radial Women’s and Men’s World Championships continued today in Medemblik, Netherlands, repeating light wind conditions experienced yesterday.
All three fleets could complete two new races anyway, counting four now in total. European sailors continue to head scores.
2017 Laser Radial Women’s World Championship results – Day 2
Evi Van Acker BEL (4-3-3-9) has taken now Women’s first spot with 10 points, after a bad day of previous leader Kim Pletikos SLO (3-2-29-14), who’s ranked now 5th overall with 19.
Cristina Pujol ESP (17-6-4-6) climbed to 3rd place on championship after a nice day, counting now 16 points and following 2nd Manami Doi JPN (34-5-7-2) just two units behind.
Svenja Weger GER (8-2-31-10) is 7th now with 20 units.
Pauline Liebig GER (3-22-2-19), Mária Érdi HUN (9-3-32-12) and Maxime Jonker NED (23-7-13-4) are sharing 24 points, in places 10th to 12th respectively.

Great day for Axel Rahm SWE (3-22-5-1) now leading Men’s Radial World championship, draw in 9 points with Daniil Krutskikh RUS (12-1-4-4).
Alfonso Fernandez ESP (5-3-2-18) is closely following leaders, just 1 point behind on 3rd.
Marcin Rudawski POL (16-15-1-3) and Maxime Mazard FRA (2-35-13-5) are 4th and 5th overall with 19 and 20 points respectively.
Loukianos Zamit GRE (10-33-7-19) and Aleksandr Moliakov NED (13-19-16-7) are also among Top 10 with 36 points, in places 8th and 9th.
