What data we collect and why
1. Browsing the website
Our hosting provider (OVH, France) automatically records standard server log data including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited as part of normal server operation. This data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (website security and performance) and is not used to identify individual visitors personally. It is retained for a limited period in accordance with OVH’s standard data retention practices.
2. Newsletter subscription
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your name and email address for the sole purpose of sending you EurILCA news and updates. This data is:
- Stored in our own WordPress database, hosted on our OVH server in France.
- Not shared with or transmitted to any third-party marketing services.
- Processed on the basis of your explicit consent, given at the time of subscription.
- Retained for as long as you remain subscribed. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter, or by emailing entry@eurilca.eu with the subject line “unsubscribe.”
3. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we retain your email address and message content solely to respond to your enquiry. This data is not shared with third parties and is deleted once the matter is resolved.
4. Cookie consent
When you respond to our cookie consent banner, your preference is stored locally in your browser via a cookie. No personal data is transmitted to external servers as a result.

- OVH SAS — our hosting provider, whose servers are located in France (EU). OVH processes data in accordance with GDPR as a data processor.
