The second day of the 2024 EurILCA Europa Cup AUT at Union-Yacht-Club Attersee began with a calm morning, marked by sunshine while AP flag was hoisted.
Around lunchtime, perfect sailing conditions set in, with 8-10 knots of wind coming from the North-Northeast, allowing all classes to complete three successful races.
The warm weather and stronger winds may have encouraged some bold maneuvers on the water, leading to several protests after the races. However, the race committee and jury handled the issues with professionalism, ensuring that all sailors resolved their disputes fairly.
