A new round of Laser Europa Cup 2017 started today in Marina Eforie, Romania.
North East light winds under 7 knots prevailed on the first day and the Laser fleets completed only one race. Before the first race the wind dropped under 5 knots and a new start was not possible.
Maximilian Rosca ROU won the Laser 4.7 race, followed by young Serbians Kristina Boja and Alexander Jovanovic.
The winner in the Laser Radial fleet was Mariela Nikolova BUL, followed by Stavros Papadopoulos GRE and Dan Stupar ROU.
Romanian Laser sailors Tarkan Bolat, Andrei Zitti and Florin Olteanu are on top of the Laser standard fleet.
3 races are scheduled tomorrow, beginning at 11.00 hours.
