Finally the races started at the 2018 Laser Senior European championships in La Rochelle, France. 10-14 knots from West allowed all fleets to complete their two scheduled races. Big swell and light winds marked fifth day of races for sailors fighting for the 2017 Laser Senior European Championships in Barcelona. Lazy start this morning, where wind became shifty and dropped to 2 knots in noon. Finally around 14:30 a Northern breeze came in and sailors were sent to water for racing. Marit Bouwmeester

Final series has started today with two races, where overnight leading sailors managed to keep first spots but closely followed now by tough opponents.
