A new round of the 2018 Laser Europa Cup concluded today in Germany, as part of the Warnemünder Woche event.
2018 Laser Europa Cup GER – Final results
After 6 races, local sailor Lukas Schranck GER (1-1-7-1-1-1) was the overall winner in the Laser 4.7 fleet with 5 points, escorted by Lithuanian Patrikas Tamasauskas LTU (6-3-1-2-4-3) and Italian Simone Babini ITA (3-12-3-3-2-2) on second and third spots with 13 points. 15 sailors participated of this championship.
Croatian sailor Elena Boroeva CRO (45 BFD-1-1-2-1-1) was finally the best among the 86 Laser Radial sailors participating of this competition, heading fleet with 6 points after discarding a black flag. She was closely followed two units behind on podium by Turkish sailor Nazli Cagla Donertas TUR (9-1-2-1-2-2). French sailor Yvan Beaufils FRA (1-6-4-3-3-1) was best ranked within boys and third overall with 12 points.
Finally the Laser Standard championship was for Polish sailor Dawid Kania POL (1-1-1-2-1-14 DNS) with 6 points, escorted by Rodney Govinden SEY (3-2-3-3-2-1) and Jakub Halouzka CZE (2-3-2-1-4-3), both with 11 units. 13 sailors participated of this fleet.
