Very light wind conditions allowed only 1 race per fleet to be held on the second day of competition at the 2022 EurILCA Europa Cup POL in Dziwnow, Poland.
This way the ILCA 7 and ILCA 6 fleets count 4 races on scores, while the ILCA 4 counts only one.
Race day 2 results – ILCA 7
Lithuanian sailor Vejas Strelciunas LTU is the new ILCA 7 overall and U21 leader with 5 points, followed by Martis Pajarskas LTU and Valeriy Kudryashov with 11. Jakub Halouzka CZE, Stanislaw Klimaszewski POL and Maxime Thommen POL (first U19) are also close with 13 units.
32 sailors participate of this ILCA 7 championships.
Race day 2 results – ILCA 6
U17 sailor Filip Olszewski POL continues to lead the ILCA 6 fleet with 4 points, followed now by the new U19 leader Marek Szczepankowski POL and Filip Kapala POL with 15. The Women’s championship is led by Dominika Raszka POL with 16, in the 4th place overall. Jan Krawczyc POL is fifth with 19 units.

Race day 2 results – ILCA 4
The ILCA 4 sailors training for the upcoming 2022 EurILCA 4 Youth European Championships could finally enjoy of their first race, although shortening the course due to lack of wind. Their 141 participants are racing in blue and yellow fleets. Rayene El Haddadi ITA and Bulut Eonakci TUR are leading with 1 point after winning their races. Emilios Boeros CYP and Amanda Voutilainen FIN are second with 2 units.
The last 2022 EurILCA Europa Cup POL races will come tomorrow, with the first warning signal at 11:00. Last warning signal will be made no later than 15:00. This is the fifth event of the 2022 EurILCA Europa Cup Trophy, after the regattas organised in Pollensa ESP, Ostend BEL, Neuchatel SUI and Torbole ITA.
Warnemunde GER, Attersee AUT, Nechranice CZE, Tivat MNE and Hvar CRO will follow until the end of the year.
After all 10 regattas, the Trophy’s overall winners in all 3 classes will be awarded with a brand new sail.
