Racing started today at the 2023 ILCA 4 Youth European Championships & Open European Trophy.

Strong wind of 16 to 20 knots (23 knots in the gusts) enlightened the beginning of the competition here in Cádiz, Spain.

First warning signal was planned to be at 10:00 but the wind only arrived around 12:00. Sailors had to wait on water for those hours and finally started racing at 12:30. Champagne conditions then allowed both scheduled races to run straight forward and all participants were on shore again around 15:00, where they could finally relax and enjoy of a full meal at the tent.
