The second round of the 2023 EurILCA Europa Cup Trophy concluded today with the 2023 EurILCA Europa Cup Switzerland at Circolo Velico Lago di Lugano.
After 3 days of competition, only 2 races were held per fleet due to lack of wind on Friday, Saturday and also Sunday in the morning.
ILCA 4 was the largest fleet with 48 boats on water, followed by ILCA 6 (45 boats) and ILCA 7 (11 boats).
Final results – ILCA 4
Local sailors Tristan Schnitzer SUI (1-1) and Shana Burger SUI (3-3) were the ILCA 4 Men and ILCA 4 Women champions respectively.
Ludovico Caresani ITA / Lennart Reith GER and Varvara Postrelko UKR / Tamina Polte GER completed Men’s and Women’s podiums.
Final results – ILCA 6
Ukranian sailors Bohdan Rukhlin UKR (1-1) and Ivan Antipin UKR (9-2) were first and second among the ILCA 6 fleet. Third place for Sam Nokes SUI (12-3).
Women’s fleet was dominated by local sailors Audrey Deryckere SUI (3-4) and Viktoria Jedlinska SUI (15-6). Croatian sailor Dorotea Spisic CRO completed girl’s podium.
Final results – ILCA 7
Ukranian representatives Oskar Madonich UKR (1-3) and Valeriy Kudryashov UKR (2-2) finished tied in points in ILCA 7, closely followed by Timo van Roomen SUI (5-1) two points behind.

Third round of the 2023 EurILCA Europa Cup Trophy will be the 2023 EurILCA Europa Cup ITA in Riva del Garda, Italy, from May 4-7. Entries for this event are open until April 26th. Application form.
Also in May but 26-29 will be the time of the 2023 EurILCA Europa Cup FRA in Canet en Roussillon, France. Application form.
