After a day of light and shifting winds, the top teams were determined, and Italy emerged as the very first champions of this exciting new event.

The action began early, with racing starting at 08:00. Throughout the day, the wind conditions remained light and patchy, with breezes ranging from 1 to 7 knots. These conditions created a challenging environment for the sailors, testing their adaptability and teamwork. Following the qualification, all teams returned to shore while the Race Committee calculated the results to determine which teams would progress to the semifinals and finals.

In the first semifinal, Italy faced Sweden 2, with Italy securing a place in the final after a hard-fought and tactical battle. In the second semifinal, Sweden 1 went head-to-head with Greece, and it was Greece who triumphed to advance to the final.

The race for third place saw Sweden 2 win over <strong”>Sweden 1, earning the bronze medal.
