The 2025 EurILCA Europa Cup Trophy wrapped up in thrilling fashion last week in Hvar, Croatia, marking the end of an unforgettable season of racing. This prestigious event has been a key part of the racing calendar, offering sailors the opportunity to refine their skills in preparation for the European and World Championships.
Record-Breaking Participation
This year’s championship set a new participation record with 2,120 entries from 53 countries, including 39 European nations. Competitors raced across the ILCA 4, ILCA 6, and ILCA 7 fleets, showcasing fierce competition at every event.
A Season of Intense Competition
The 2025 season spanned 11 regattas held across 10 different countries: Turkey, Slovenia, Italy, Switzerland, France, Bulgaria, Poland, Germany, Hungary, Malta, and Croatia. After an exhilarating series of events, the final rankings were determined, culminating in last week’s exciting finale.
Ranking System & Rewarding Excellence
The rankings for the 2025 EurILCA Europa Cup Trophy were based on each sailor’s best three results from the season. To recognize their hard work and achievements, the top sailor in each of the five classes will be awarded a brand-new sail, supporting their continued development.

Looking Ahead: The 2026 EurILCA Europa Cup Trophy
The 2026 edition is already on the horizon! The calendar has been published, and registration for events is now open. The first regatta of the year will take place in Portimão, Portugal, from March 13th to 15th. Make sure to register by March 2nd at eurilca.eu/europacup/venues.
