Italy Dominates 2026 ILCA Under-21 Worlds with All-European Podiums

Italy claimed gold in all three categories at the 2026 ILCA Under-21 World Championships, held this week at Marina Rubicón, Lanzarote. Antonio Pascali, Ginevra Caracciolo, and Alessandro Cirinei took top honours, with all 12 scheduled races completed in medium to strong wind conditions that provided a challenging yet rewarding test for the sailors throughout the week.

In an impressive display of European talent, all 9 medalists across the podiums were from the European region, underscoring the continent’s strong presence in international ILCA sailing.
