ILCA has opened a vote to approve a major update to the ILCA Class Rules, aligning them with World Sailing’s Standard Class Rules (SCR) format. The vote covers the updated document in its entirety. The ILCA World Council and the Technical, Measurement Committee and EurILCA recommend voting “Yes”, as adoption of the SCR format is a mandatory requirement for all Olympic classes.
Voting is open to current ILCA class members only and closes on 24 July 2026. Membership will be verified with each sailor’s home district, so please be ready to confirm memberships if contacted by the ILCA office.
