The 2026 EurILCA Europa Cup – Argo Races of Kalamaria came to a successful conclusion after seven races were completed in 3 days across all classes: ILCA 4, ILCA 6, and ILCA 7.
The welcoming waters of the Thermaikos Gulf provided sailors with a demanding yet enjoyable challenge, as light and variable winds ranging from 6 to 10 knots tested both tactical awareness and consistency throughout the event.
The experienced volunteers and staff of the Nautical Club of Kalamaria Thessaloniki, working alongside a highly efficient Race Committee, delivered a flawlessly organised regatta, ensuring fair competition and an excellent racing experience for all participants.
Athletes and coaches alike expressed their appreciation for the high standard of organisation and the warm Greek hospitality offered by Thessaloniki. With another successful edition of the EurILCA Europa Cup races now completed, competitors are already looking ahead with excitement to the 2026 ILCA 6 Youth European Championships & Open European Trophy, which gets underway next Monday in Kalamaria Thessaloniki.
