The 2023 EurILCA Master FRA concluded today in Saint Raphael, France, organised by Club Nautique Saint Raphael.
It was the second of 12 events scheduled for the year, with 55 Master sailors on water.
After 3 days of competition and all 6 scheduled races held, the following were the ILCA 7 and ILCA 6 Masters winners;
ILCA 7 results – 2023 EurILCA Master FRA
22 sailors participated of the ILCA 7 competition, with Xavier Leclair FRA (Master champion with 10 pt), Roberto Bini ITA (Grand Master champion with 11 pt) and Denis Simeoni FRA (Grand Master Vice champion with 18 pt) in the overall podium.
Aitor Barrenechea ESP was first among the Apprentice Masters in the fifth place overall with 24 units.
ILCA 6 results – 2023 EurILCA Master FRA
33 sailors were part of the ILCA 6 fleet, with Ludovico Fassitelli MON (Grand Master champion with 12 pt), Pierrik Devic MON (Master champion with 16 pt) and Lorenz Muller SUI (Great Grand Master champion with 19 pt) conquering the overall podium.
Antonio Macina ITA was first among the Apprentice Masters, finishing fourth overall with 20 points.
Gabrielle Nagy FRA was the best among the Women’s fleet, holding the fifth place overall with 23.
Six Legend sailor were part of this championship, with Loius Marcon FRA on first and seventh overall with 44 units.
Upcoming events – 2023 EurILCA Master Series
The 2023 EurILCA Master Series will continue with 3 events in May: Calella ESP, Ostend BEL and Beulaker Wiede NED. All applications are open at eurilca.eu
