After 3 days of races, the Laser Europa Cup 2017 in Lugano, Switzerland, has their new champions.
Italian young sailor Federica Cattarozzi (1-5-1-1-1) took Gold in Laser 4.7 with 4 points, followed by Matteo Guardigli (1-3-5-2-13) and Girogia Cingolani (2-4-3-2-32), both with 11 units. 75 sailors participated of fleet.
The Laser Radial competition, with 63 boats, was lead from the beginning by Guido Gallinaro (2-1-1-1-1-7), finally winning trophy with 6 points, closely followed by Alberto Tezza (3-2-1-2-1-26) and Alessandro Fornasari (5-1-3-2-3-1), with 9 and 10 points respectively.
Marco Gallo (1-1-1-1-2-5) headed the Laser Standard fleet, achieving Gold with 6 points, escorted by Francesco Piro (16 pt) and Michele Vezzoli (17 pt).
