The 2023 EurILCA Master Series came to a successful close following the final event in Campione del Garda, Italy, having completed all 14 scheduled events, including 13 EMS regattas and the ILCA Master Europeans in France.
We are delighted to witness the continuous growth of our Master fleet, setting a new participation record this year with 270 sailors joining us at the Europeans in Douarnenez.
In terms of participation in the 2023 EMS, we welcomed a total of 753 Master sailors this year, with at least one event attended by each of them. Within this group, 379 of them sailed in the ILCA 7 class, 371 in the ILCA 6, and 3 in the ILCA 4. Notably, we are proud to highlight that among the 374 ILCA 4 and ILCA 6 sailors, 71 of them sailed in Women’s categories, and an impressive 35 of them competed as Legend sailors, signifying their age of 75 years and over. This remarkable diversity reinforces the strong sense of community and enduring enjoyment we want for our beloved ILCA class.

Now, let’s unveil the 2023 EurILCA Master Series champions! Winners will be honored with prizes during the annual prize giving, traditionally hosted at the EMS regatta in Calella, Spain. The event will take place from 18-21 April 2024 at Club Vela Calella, so save the dates!
