The Laser Radial Youth European Championship & Trophy 2017 started today in Gdynia, Poland, with a first race for all 4 fleets under hectic weather conditions with clouds, rain and sunshine varying along the day.
Laser Radial Youth European Championship 2017 – Day 1 – Boys results
Dimitris Papadimitrou GRE, Nooa Laukkanen FIN and Jimmy Marchand FRA were the winners today in all three different Boy’s fleets (Blue, Green and Yellow respectively).
Second and third in Blue group were Andrea Golabek ITA and Arnaud Janitor FRA. Daniil Krutskikh RUS and Guido Gallinaro ITA were second and third in Green fleet. Jakob Eklund FIN and Zohar Haruvi ISR completed provisional podium in Yellow race.

Girls competition is headed by Stephanie Wingeatt GBR, followed by Juli Baruch ISR and local sailor Wiktoria Golebiowska POL.
