Three new races were added to scores today in Varna, where the 2019 Laser Europa Cup Bulgaria completed the second day of competition.
A sunny day and nice swell made sailors enjoy of fantastic races. 15-18 knots from North on first two races and 7-9 knots on the last one were the predominant wind conditions.
2019 Laser Europa Cup Bulgaria – Day 2 results
Diana Marcova BUL took the leadership now of the Laser 4.7 fleet with 12 points, escorted by overnight first Radoslav Gavrailov BUL with 14. Stanislava Todorova BUL is third overall and second women with 17 units.
The Laser Radial competition is governed by Oskar Madonich UKR with 4 points, followed by Women’s leader Mariela Nikolova BUL with 10 and Vadym Okladnikov UKR with 11.
The Laser Standard fleet shows fierce fight on top by Ukranian sailors Valeriy Kudryashov UKR and Ivan Zhukalin UKR with 5 and 6 points respectively.
Tomorrow will be the last races before crowning the champions so stay tune!
