A new ILCA Europe–Asia exchange initiative for 2026–2027 will give leading youth sailors the chance to race on another continent, strengthening international connections and expanding competitive experience.
The venues for the 2028 ILCA European Championships were confirmed today after a comprehensive review of proposals submitted during the 2025 EurILCA Annual General Meeting in Malta. Delegates representing 21 European nations participated in the selection process. While the exact event dates will be finalised in 2027, the chosen venues have now been officially designated.
