Final series started today in Medemblik, Netherlands, with two new races added to scores. 2017 Radial Youth World Championships counts 9 races completed now, waiting for the last two tomorrow.

After three days of light air racing, young sailors experienced heavier 10-15 knots today, shifting advantage to the bigger athletes and mixing up some positions.

Hannah Anderssohn GER (3-11-4-3-2-1-4-8-1) has taken now Women’s leadership with 26 points, after bad results collected by previous leader Julia Buesselberg GER (4-1-1-2-1-9-7-44-16), now in 3rd with 41 units. Dolores Moreira URU (5-12-2-4-5-3-1-2-7) is 2nd, just 3 points behind Anderssohn.

U17 category leader Matilda Nicholls GBR (9-1-2-4-19-1-9-12-11) drops one position on main chart, being now fifth overall with 49 points, following Charlotte Rose USA in 4th with 46.

Emma Savelon NED (2-8-54BFD-9-14-2-3-13-5) holds 6th place with 56 points.

Bad day for Lin Pletikos SLO (1-2-1-6-10-18-6-20-22) and Laila Van Der Meer NED (13-6-13-1-4-3-4-41-27), although still among Top 10, in 7th and 8th places respectively.

Laura Schewe GER (11-32-5-1-6-54RET-1-14-3) and Théa Khelif FRA (8-7-10-8-13-6-8-15-17) closes provisional Top 10 in 9th and 10th.

Bad day also for overnight leader Guido Gallinaro ITA (14-1-1-1-1-1-1-34-31), now 3rd overall with 51 points. Argentine sailor Matias Dietrich ARG (1-3-3-6-5-4-24-28-2) is heading now championship with 48. Between them is Japanese sailor Yoshihiro Suzuki JPN in 2nd with 50 units.

U17 leader Josh Armit NZL is now 4th overall, draw in 51 points with Gallinaro in 3rd and Dimitris Papadimitriou GRE in 5th.

Alexandre Boite FRA, Gregoire Peverelli SUI, Daniil Krutskikh RUS, Jimmy Marchand FRA and Maor Ben Harosh ISR completes provisional Top 10, in places 6th to 10th respectively.
