Second day of races at the 2019 Laser Senior European Championships & Open European Trophy in Porto, Portugal.
Breeze was on today and all 323 sailors could complete two more scheduled races, being now four in total.
2019 Laser Senior Europeans – Day 2 results – Laser Standard
Four points separates the first the seven first sailors, with Finish Karl Tapper FIN (30-3-2-1) leading now the European Championship with 6 points, only 1 point behind Trophy leader Luke Elliott AUS (1-10-1-3) on first overall. Second European and third overall is now Croatian Tonci Stipanovic CRO (31-1-2-4) with 7. Third European place and fourth overall for British Lorenzo Chiavarini GBR (13-1-3-4) with 8 units.
Overnight leaders Philipp Buhl GER (1-4-4-9), Joaquin Blanco ESP (1-4-12-12), Finn Lynch IRL (2-3-20-13) and Niels Broekhuizen NED (3-2-21-16) are now ranked 6th, 15th, 16th and 21st respectively.
Reigning Olympic champion Tom Burton AUS (9-5-1-3) is 5th with 8 points, while reigning World and European Champion Pavlos Kontides CYP (12-21-6-18) is 40th with 36.

2019 Laser Senior Europeans – Day 2 results – Laser Radial Women
Danish sailor Anne Marie Rindom DEN (2-3-1-1) took the first spot today after scoring two bullets and leads both the European and Trophy championships with 4 points. Second is now Canadian Sarah Douglas CAN (3-18-2-6) with 11. Third spot overall and second European place for the reigning World champion Emma Plasschaert BEL (8-12-2-2) with 12.
Reigning Olympic and European champion Marit Bouwmeester NED (3-11-14-8) is 11th overall with 22 units.
2019 Laser Senior Europeans – Day 2 results – Laser Radial Men
Polish sailor Aleksander Arian POL (1-5-3-4) is the new overall and European leader among the Radial Men fleet with 8 points, followed by first U21 sailor Andrea Crisi ITA (8-27-4-2) with 14. Third place for British Ben Elvin GBR (4-18-2-10) with 16.
Multiple times Radial Men World and European champion Marcin Rudawski POL (12-12-1-6) is fourth with 19.
Overnight leader Martim Fernandes POR (3-2-18-22) is now 7th overall and 2nd U21, draw in 23 points with third U21 sailor Francesco Miseri ITA (2-8-13-SCP42).
