Today is World Ocean Day, and there is no better moment to celebrate the sailors who protect the waters they love. All week, ILCA sailors from around the world have been answering one simple question: what do you do to protect the ocean? Their answers have been honest, personal and inspiring — a reminder that the ocean is not just where we race, it is what we race for.
This campaign began in 2020, when we first asked our community to speak up for the ocean. Six years later, the commitment is still there. Same question, same values, new voices joining the conversation.
