Croatian girls and Greek boys continue leading after day 2

One more wonderful evening with nice temperature and medium winds enlightened second day of races at the 2018 Laser 4.7 Youth European Championships in Patras, Greece.

Croatian girls hold top positions after day 2

Croatian sailors Ursula Balas CRO (3-1-1) and Mare Milic CRO (1-1-4) continue to lead the 106 girls fleet with 5 and 6 points respectively, closely followed by Eline Verstraelen BEL (1-3-5) on third with 9.

Italian sailor Giorgia Cingolani ITA (8-2-1) is still 4th overall with 11 units, now followed by U16 leader Flo Nicholls GBR (10-3-2) and U16 vice-leader Abby Childerley GBR (4-8-3) just 4 points behind on places 5th and 6th overall respectively.

Greek sailors continue to lead the boys fleet in Greece after day 2

First discard entered on boy’s scoring after 4 races and Emmanouil Kollias GRE (1-1-1-18) continues to lead this 206 boats championship with 3 points, closely followed by Emilios Monos GRE (3-1-1-17) and Cesare Barabino ITA (2-10-1-2) with 5. Dikaios Kerkoulas GRE (1-2-9-5) and Charalampos Smyrnis GRE (3-5-13-1) hold places 4th and 5th overall with 8 and 9 points respectively.

U16 championship is led now by Finley Dickinson GBR (7-9-2-5) with 14 units and ranked 14th overall, followed by Yoav Kfir ISR (5-7-4-7) and Jordi Llado Duran ESP (3-9-9-12) with 16 and 21 points respectively.

Event will continue tomorrow with 2 new races starting at 11:00 so stay tune!
