Meet the 2024 ILCA 4 Youth European Champions

Today marked the conclusion of the 2024 ILCA 4 Youth European Championships & Open European Trophy in Izola, Slovenia, following six days of intense competition.

At 11:15, both Gold fleets set sail, followed by the remaining fleets joining the courses for their final races. Despite a 45-minute postponement on the water, the Gold fleets commenced racing around 13:00, benefiting from a pleasant 8-10 knots breeze.

Throughout the afternoon, these favorable sailing conditions persisted, allowing the Girls’ Gold fleet to complete three new races, with the last one commencing just minutes before the 15:30 time limit. The Boys’ Gold fleet managed two new races within the timeframe.

Following a series of 10 races for the Girls and 9 races for the Boys, we proudly announce the new 2024 ILCA 4 Youth European champions!
