Second day of the Final series was successfully completed today and now we have ten races counting for the 2019 Laser 4.7 Youth European Championships & Open European Trophy in Hyeres, France.
Nice sailing conditions accompanied the whole day, with medium winds of around 15 knots.
2019 Laser 4.7 Youth Europeans – Day 5 results – Girls
Croatian Ursula Balas CRO (2-11-6-14-7-
16-1-3-6-8) is leading now Girl’s fleet with 58 points and a nice discard. Great day for Italian Sara Savelli ITA (10-5-5-9-12-39-11-10-3-2) now on 2nd with 67. Third place for Spanish Lara Himmes ESP (10-8-31-11-1-1-2-5-BFD-1), draw in 70 points with 4th Alessia Palanti ITA (14-1-1-1-21-17-7- 36-2-6). First race today was for ascendant Anja Von Allmen SUI now on 5th place with 74 units.
Russian sailor Alexandra Lukoyanova RUS recovered Girl’s U16 first place today and leads with 107 points in 7th place overall. Second U16 place for Carlotta Rizzardi ITA with 134 points and ranked 12th overall. Third U16 place for Polish sailor Laura Szulc POL on 15th place overall with 147 units.
2019 Laser 4.7 Youth Europeans – Day 5 results – Boys
Yogev Alcalay ISR (
17-12-1-15-7-1-11-1-6-3) is the new Overall and U16 Boy’s leader now with 57 points, followed by Spanish sailor Ricard Castellvi ESP (4-6-2-3-12-3-7-27- DPIj-1) with 60. Third place overall for Greek Georgios Papadakos GRE (1-2-5-1-6-15-8- RET-16-19) with 73 units.
The second U16 place continues to be for Spanish sailor Mariano Cebrian ESP now on place 27 with 168 points. Third U16 spot for French Mathys Redouani FRA on 31st with 187.
