Long third day of races in Vilamoura, Portugal, where the 2020 Laser 4.7 Youth European Championships are being held.
After 3 hours postponement in the morning due to lack of wind, sailors were allowed to go on water at 14:00. The first races were sailed under very light wind conditions, even shortening some of courses. Fortunately for the second bunch of races the wind raised up to 12-14 knots to close the sailing day in a better manner.
Overnight leaders secured their top positions now after 6 races. This way the Qualifying series concluded and sailors on the Gold fleets will battle for the 2020 Laser 4.7 Youth European titles from tomorrow and until Friday 21st on the Final series.
