Second day of races at the 2019 Laser Europa Cup HUN in Balaton, Hungary. Three new races were added to scores, being four now in total for all 3 fleets.
2019 Laser Europa Cup Hungary – Day 2 results
Local sailor Attila Kovács HUN (2-51UFD-9-2) is leading now the Laser 4.7 competition with 13 points, followed by Vladiszalvlyev Alexandar HUN (15-5-10-1) with 16. Third place overall and first U16 for Bence Gaborjani-Szabo HUN (7-6-3-51DNC) also with 16. Same score for Dániel Cserveni HUN (51BFD-7-5-4) who’s fourth overall and second U16. Girls are led now by Róza Vida HUN (12-4-2-12) with 18 points and ranked fifth overall. Overnight leader Soma Sigmond HUN (1-51UFD-11-10) is ranked now seventh overall with 22 units.
The Laser Radial Overall and U17 first spot is now on hands of Balazs Redling HUN (3-1-3-1) with 5 points, closely followed by Ukranian sailors Andrew Verdysh UKR (9-2-1-2) and Oskar Madonich UKR (1-3-2-3) with 5 and 6. Girls are led by German sailor Vanessa Gregor GER (4-9-13-16) on 11th place overall with 26 units.
Benjamin (1-2-1-1) and Jonatan Vadnai HUN (2-1-2-16RET) continue to hold first and second spots in the Laser Standard fleet with 3 and 5 points. Czech Jakub Halouzka CZE (5-4-4-2) is now third with 10. German sailor Christoph Möhring GER (4-5-5-3) is first U19 and fifth overall with 12 units.
