Fourth day of races at the 2019 Laser Under 21 European Championships & Open European Trophy in Dziwnów, Poland. The Final series started today with fierce competition under medium to strong wind and two new races per fleet were added to scores.
2019 Laser Under 21 Europeans – Day 4 report and results
Greek sailor Dimitris Papadimitriou GRE (9-1-7-4-8-2-7) is the new U21 Standard leader with 29 points, followed by Israeli Maor Benharoch ISR (1-15-5-1-7-3-17) with 32. Also Greek Anastasios Panagiotidis GRE (2-6-12-4-2-8-23) is third with 34.
Overnight leader Alexandre Boite FRA (1-2-9-13-1-69RET-12) is ranked now 4th, sharing 38 points with Vishnu Saravanan IND.
German sailor Nico Naujock GER continues to lead the U19 championship and is ranked 5th European (6th overall) with 41 units.
Belarusian Ekaterina Sanko BLR (8-9-4-6-2-3-9-19) recovered Girl’s leadership with 41 points, escorted now by Dutch Emma Savelon NED (18-6-43-1-5-7-2-5) and Russian Valeriya Lomatchenko RUS (3-64UFD-15-2-7-1-12-6) with 44 and 47 units respectively.
Overnight leader Wiktoria Golebiowska POL (37-4-2-3-1-2-64DNC-9) is ranked now 7th with 77 points.
