The 2020 Laser Master European Championships continued today in Andora, Italy.
This second day of competition started with very light breeze. The RC could start a first race in the morning but wind died after 3 legs and race was abandoned. Sailors were sent to shore and returned back to water around 3 pm, when the wind raised to 6-8 knots and their long wait was rewarded with the first scores on championship.
Georgia Chimona GRE, Luigi Santocanale FRA and Alessio Marinelli ITA started leading the Laser Radial fleet.
The Laser Standard competition is headed by Leandro Rosado ESP, Aristotelis Chatzistamatiou GRE and Adonis Bougiouris GRE.
48 Laser Standard and 51 Laser Radial are being part of this competition, including 6 Legend sailors (+75 yr).
