Racing kicked off today at the 2025 ILCA 4 Youth European Championships & Open European Trophy in Puck, Poland.
The event was blessed with bright sunshine and ideal sailing conditions, featuring consistent winds ranging from 11 to 14 knots.
The first set of races started at 11:00, as scheduled, on both courses. On the Alpha course, 276 boys competed across four groups (yellow, blue, red, and green), while on the Bravo course, 164 girls raced in three groups (yellow, blue, and red).
Thanks to excellent weather and skilled race management, all action on the water proceeded smoothly. Despite a few general recalls, all seven fleets completed their two races within a two-hour window. By 14:00, everyone was back ashore, ready to enjoy a spaghetti party along the promenade.
