Perfect sailing conditions welcomed the fleets on day four of the 2026 ILCA 4 Youth European Championships & Open European Trophy in Los Alcázares, Spain, marking the first day of the Final Series. Under sunny skies, with small waves and a steady 8 to 12 knots of wind, sailors enjoyed a straightforward and competitive day on the water.
Racing got underway on schedule at 14:00, and the consistent conditions allowed the full programme to be completed without delays. By around 17:30, all fleets were back ashore, where sailors could relax and recover with pasta ahead of the final two days of racing.
