We’re excited to share some important updates for the upcoming 2026 EurILCA Team Racing European Championship, taking place in Athens this December.
Entry Deadline Extended to September 30
Originally set to close on August 31, we’ve extended the entry deadline to September 30, 2026, giving more teams the chance to register and join us in Athens.
Gender Rule Removed
Previously, each team of three sailors was required to include at least one male and one female sailor. This requirement has now been removed. Teams can be formed with any combination of sailors, regardless of gender.
Open to Non-European Teams
We’re also opening the event beyond Europe. Teams from non-European countries are now welcome to enter and compete alongside European teams in Athens.
