The third regatta of the 2024 EurILCA Master Series concluded today in Calella de Palafrugell, Spain, hosted by Club Vela Calella.
Throughout the competition, strong wind conditions prevailed, allowing all 130 Master sailors from 19 countries to enjoy their time on the water and complete 7 races per fleet.
The event also featured the EurILCA Master Series Annual dinner, during which all the overall champions of the 2023 edition were awarded their prizes.
After four memorable days filled with action, here are the winners in all the different categories. Congratulations to all participants!
ILCA 6 winners – 2024 EurILCA Master ESP
- 1st Apprentice Master – Antonio Cabras ITA (19th overall)
- 1st Apprentice Master Women – Marina de Budalles ESP (72nd overall)
- 1st Master and 1st Master Women – Monica Azon ESP (1st overall)
- 1st Grand Master – Freek de Miranda NED (2nd overall)
- 1st Grand Master Women – Helene Viazzo FRA (12th overall)
- 1st Great Grand Master – Terry Scutcher GBR (5th overall)
- 1st Legend – Jacques Kerrest USA (21st overall)
ILCA 7 winners – 2024 EurILCA Master ESP
- 1st Apprentice Master – Lorenzo Cerretelli IAA (1st overall)
- 1st Master – Carlos Echavarri Erasun ESP (5th overall)
- 1st Grand Master – Brett Beyer AUS (3rd overall)
- 1st Great Grand Master – Jose Luis Doreste ESP (2nd overall)
Next step of the 2024 EurILCA Master Series will be the 2024 EurILCA Master BEL in Kinrooi, Belgium, from May 4-6 2024, organised by Zeilvereniging Noord Limburg Maas.
