The 2023 ILCA 6 Youth European Championships & Open European Trophy are starting today in Gdynia, Poland, with the first day of registration and equipment inspection.
The following is the event schedule in full;
A total of 389 youth sailors hailing from 42 different nations around the globe are coming together to participate in this competition.
Men’s will be the largest fleet with 270 sailors, racing in four groups; Yellow, Blue, Red and White in the Qualifying series and Gold, Silver, Bronze and Emerald in the Finals.
Women’s fleet will be composed by 119 sailors and they will race in two groups; Yellow and Blue in the Qualifying and Gold and Silver in the Finals.
Alongside the Women’s and Men’s Overall prizes, we´ll also host the Women’s and Men’s Under 17 championships here.
Racing will goes from July 14th to 19th, with 2 scheduled races per day.
