The final event of the 2023 EurILCA Europa Cup Trophy successfully wrapped up last week in Hvar, Croatia, marking the culmination of a remarkable annual competition. The event attracted nearly 1400 participants from 58 nations, competing in ILCA 4, ILCA 6, and ILCA 7 categories.
The EurILCA Europa Cup Trophy serves as a crucial stepping stone for sailors preparing for the European and World championships, drawing athletes from diverse countries to participate in these events. In recognition of their efforts, EurILCA rewards top sailors in each of the five classes with a new sail, aiming to support their ongoing improvement in performance.
Following the conclusion of 10 regattas held across Slovenia, Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany, Poland, Serbia, Hungary, Malta, and Croatia, the overall rankings were determined. The final standings considered the three best scores achieved by competitors throughout the year, ultimately crowned the following sailors:
- ILCA 4 Girls: Sara Lacko CRO
- ILCA 4 Boys: Semen Sokol UKR
- ILCA 6 Women: Alexandra Lukoyanova BUL
- ILCA 6 Men: Bodan Rukhlin UKR
- ILCA 7: Oskar Madonich UKR (also champion in 2022)

Looking ahead to the 2024 edition, the calendar has already been published, and registrations for events are open at eurilca.eu/europacup – The first regatta of the year is scheduled to take place in Portimão, Portugal, from February 2nd to 4th, 2024 and you can register now here:
