Pollensa set to break participation record for an Europa Cup in Spain

A record-breaking 334 sailors set to compete in second leg of 2024 EurILCA Europa Cup in Port Pollensa, Spain.

From Thursday, March 7th to Sunday, March 10th, a total of 102 ILCA 7, 141 ILCA 6, and 91 ILCA 4 sailors will converge on the waters of Majorca for the highly anticipated event. Organized by Reial Club Nàutic Port Pollença, this regatta promises thrilling competition and stunning scenery.

For many participants, the event will serve as valuable preparation for the upcoming 2024 ILCA Under 21 European Championships & Open European Trophy, which will be held just a few days later at the same club.

The event will also count with the presence of well-known World and European medalists, in their preparation to Trofeo S.A.R. Princesa Sofia at the end of month, such as the recent ILCA 6 Women’s Senior European champion Maria Erdi HUN, Emma Plasschaert BEL, Elena Vorobeva CRO, Ecem Guzel TUR or Maud Jayet SUI.

The EurILCA Europa Cup offers sailors of all ages, starting from 12 years old, the opportunity to compete in stunning venues across Europe, making it a truly inclusive and exciting series of regattas. All information about the championship you can find it here:
