New round of races in Gdynia, Poland, where half of Laser Radial Youth European Championships & Trophy 2017 has been met. Five races and a first discard applied have altered some of main positions.
Laser Radial Youth European Championship 2017 – Day 3 – Boys results
Great day for Italian sailor Guido Gallinaro ITA (3-4-1-1-1) now ratifying overall leadership with 6 points, closely followed by Greek Dimitris Papadimitriou GRE (1-1-21-1-3) with equal score but worst discard. Finish Nooa Laukkanen FIN (1-2-21-3-1) is now in third place with 7, just one point behind leaders, so competition promises to be tight now heading final series.
Just a few points behind appears Daniil Krutskikh RUS (2-6-2-4-2) with 10. Marcelo Cairo ESP (5-3-5-1-3) and Loghlen Rickard IRL (31-2-2-2-6) are also close with 12 units.

Laser Radial Youth European Championship 2017 – Day 3 – Girls results
Local sailor Wiktoria Golebiowska POL (3-2-1-4-2) is showing great performance and holds girl’s leadership under control, now counting 8 points in total. No changes on provisional podium, where Elisa Navoni ITA (10-3-2-3-7) and Mariia Kislukhina RUS (5-4-9-14-4) still occupies second and third place overall with 15 and 22 units. Fourth place now for Ekaterina Sanko BLR (23-1-5-9-11) with 26, followed just one point behind by Lin Pletikos SLO (4-7-11-5-66DSQ). Spanish sailor Carlota Sanchez ESP (20-5-6-13-6) is sixth with 30 units.
