The 2026 EurILCA Europa Cup in Portimão is set to make history, with 191 sailors registered across the ILCA 4, ILCA 6 and ILCA 7 classes — marking a record participation for our EurILCA Europa Cup Trophy event in Portugal.
This outstanding number surpasses previous editions, including:
- 179 sailors in 2020
- 156 sailors in 2024
The event will take place from 13–15 March 2026 at the renowned Clube Naval de Portimão, and will officially open the 2026 EurILCA Europa Cup Trophy season.
Strong International Presence
A total of 132 men and 59 women will compete, representing 19 countries, confirming Portimão as one of the most attractive and competitive stops on the Europa Cup circuit.
With exceptional sailing conditions expected along the Algarve coast and an impressive fleet gathering for the season opener, the 2026 edition promises three days of high-level racing and unforgettable moments on the water.

The 2026 EurILCA Europa Cup Trophy promises to be an incredible series of regattas, with 11 events held across Europe. Each regatta will bring together top sailors from around the world, competing in the ILCA 4, ILCA 6, and ILCA 7 classes.
