A Major Milestone for the EurILCA Sustainability Programme: Platinum Certification Earned Again!
We are excited to announce that the 2025 ILCA 4 Youth European Championships & Open European Trophy in Puck, Poland, has earned the prestigious Platinum Certification from Sailors for the Sea under their Clean Regattas program. This is the second consecutive year that an EurILCA event has achieved this high honor, following the 2024 ILCA 6 Youth European Championships & Open European Trophy in Ballyholme, Northern Ireland.
This milestone is a testament to the continued commitment of our community to sustainability, and it reflects the ongoing success of the EurILCA Sustainability Programme. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and congratulations to the ILCA Team Poland staff, particularly event managers Dorota Bartkowiak and Maciej Bardan, for their exceptional efforts in delivering such a sustainable event in Puck.
This achievement sets a strong precedent for all future events, and we encourage all our partners, clubs, and organizers to follow this example by integrating sustainable practices into their own events.
