Today we didn’t have to wait or restart a race, the two races were finished quickly. “The field is surprisingly orderly. It is rare that all starts are valid, and only three competitors get UFD. They also are sailing by the rules, the Jury will have only a few cases. It is really good to see this! We suspected, that the wind will lower, which it didn’t, maybe the course could have been a little bit bigger. But still, it was a really good first day!”, said Szabolcs Majthényi, head of operations and 12 times World Champion.
156 boys and 54 girls participate of this competition in Balaton Lake, Hungary, where we’re expecting to have more races tomorrow so stay tune!
