Champagne sailing conditions for closing this 2019 Laser Senior European Championships & Open European Trophy in Porto, Portugal.
After 12 races we finally know who are our new 2019 Laser Senior European champions.

British sailor Lorenzo Chiavarini GBR could manage to keep the first place for the last three days of the event and crowned 2019 Laser Senior European champion with 54 points. He was also third on the European Trophy, following winner Matthew Wearn AUS and Sam Meech NZL with 39 and 53 points respectively.
Senior European Vice-champion title was for Nick Thompson GBR, finishing 5th overall with 63 points, followed by third European Philipp Buhl GER with 67..

2019 Laser Senior Europeans – Final results – Laser Radial Women
Undoubtedly an amazing week for Danish sailor Anne Marie Rindom DEN, leading the championship from the beginning and finally crowning new 2019 Women’s Senior European and Trophy champion with 33 points, escorted on podium by Marit Bouwmeester NED and Emma Plasschaert BEL with 45 and 47 respectively.

2019 Laser Senior Europeans – Final results – Laser Radial Men
No changes on Radial Men’s European Championship, with a solid triumph of new 2019 European champion Aleksander Arian POL, followed by Marcin Rudawski POL and Ben Elvin GBR.
Fourth place overall for the new 2019 Radial Men’s Under 21 European champion Jamie McMahon IRL, followed by Michal Krasodomski POL and Andrea Crisi ITA.
