Great day for sailing today in Los Alcázares, Spain, with medium to strong winds that helped us closing 2017 European Laser 4.7 Youth Championships with 3 new races.
2017 European Laser 4.7 Youth Championships – Girls final results
Federica Cattarozzi ITA did it great again on water, scoring a wonderful 1-2-1 and winning championship with 15 points.
Second place overall for Ana Moncada ESP with 32 pt (3-3-2 today), showing also a great performance in strong winds.
Shai Kakon ISR (2-4-13) is the new U16 Girl champion with 39 points and Bronze overall.
Giorgia Cingolani ITA (6-6-15) was finally 5th overall and Silver U16.
Fourth place overall for Ilayda Veziroglu TUR (4-10-10) with 49 units.
Ece Asya Ikisler TUR (5-7-3) got Bronze U16 and 10th place overall.

2017 European Laser 4.7 Youth Championships – Boys final results
Turkish sailors finally met their goal and stayed with Gold and Silver medals. First place was for Yigit Yalcin Citak TUR (4-9-2) with 34 points, followed by Yilkan Timursah TUR (5-4-5) with 38.
Bronze medal was finally for Roberto Bermudez ESP with 45, being the best strong wind’s sailor of tournament (17-28–23-16-1-1-1-2-3-1-3).
U16 first prize was for Cesare Barabino ITA, finally 13th overall, followed by Niccolo Nordera ITA (24th) and Julian Hoffmann GER (32nd).
