The 2024 EurILCA Master Series FRA concluded yesterday in La Baule, France.
Six fair races were completed under light to medium wind conditions. The event was a success, featuring warm weather, a friendly atmosphere, and social gatherings.
There were 53 participants from 8 countries.
In ILCA 7, the two Apprentices, Kevin Duféal from France and Nicolas Van Tienen from Great Britain, each won a race and finished second and third overall. Alan Davis from Great Britain emerged as the overall champion with four wins and only six points.
In ILCA 6, the top two spots were taken by Apprentices Alexis Tourneur from France and Antonio Macina from Italy. Kim Tam, a GGM sailor from the Netherlands, completed the overall podium. Jacques Perret from Switzerland, the first out of six Legend competitors, finished in a remarkable fifth place overall.
On Saturday, the Yacht Club of La Baule, which will host the 2026 ILCA Master European Championships, organized a delightful party, providing an opportunity for participants to explore the venue.
The 2024 EurILCA Master Series continues next weekend in Grandson, Switzerland, with the 2024 EurILCA Master Series SUI.
