How to follow the 2023 ILCA Senior Europeans in Andora

The 2023 ILCA Senior European Championships & Open European Trophy kick off today at Circolo Nautico Andora in Italy.

This is the first day of registration and equipment inspection. The Practice Race will be tomorrow at 14:00, followed by the Opening Ceremony and a special local meal.

192 ILCA 7, 117 ILCA 6 Women and 71 ILCA 6 Men sailors are attending this competition, setting a record of 380 participants for the Senior Europeans.

12 races are scheduled from Sunday 12th to Friday 17th, after which we’ll know the winners.

Best sailors from all around the World are here to compete as part of their preparation to Paris 2024, such as current ILCA 7 World champion Jean Baptiste Bernaz FRA, multiple World champion and Olympic champion Marit Bouwmeester NED, current European champions Agata Barwinska POL and Pavlos Kontides CYP, or the reigning Olympic Gold Medalists Anne Marie Rindom DEN and Matthew Wearn AUS. ILCA 7, ILCA 6 Women, ILCA 6 Men and ILCA 6 Men’s Under 21 will be the classes participating of the competition.
