The 2021 Europa Cup Trophy concluded the last week with the final event in Hvar, Croatia. After 9 regattas (10th would be Montenegro but had to be cancelled due to Covid restrictions), all 5 overall champions in the different categories were crowned and assigned with the major prize: a brand new sail for them to continue sailing fast and improving their skills.
ILCA 4 Men – Overall results
Luca Centazzo ITA was the ILCA 4 overall champion in the Men’s category, finishing 1-1-4 in his 3 participations (SLO-HUN-ITA). Tedi Leonardelli CRO (3-1-4) and Oliver Demjen HUN (11-3-6-1) completed the ILCA 4 Men’s podium, only 2 and 4 points behind the leader.

ILCA 4 Women – Overall results
Slovenian Alenka Valencic SLO was ILCA 4 Women’s overall winner after collecting a 2-4-1-1 results in her 4 participations (SLO-SUI-HUN-FRA). She was escorted on podium by Croatian sailors Lea Rakovac CRO (2-5-1) and Katja Rabak CRO (5-4-2), 4 and 7 points behind her respectively.

ILCA 6 Men – Overall results
Bendeguz Nagy HUN (2019 Europa Cup overall champion in ILCA 4) repeated now his triumph in ILCA 6 with a 2-5-4 score in his 3 participations (HUN-FRA-CRO) and wrapping the championnships with 11 points. He was accompanied on podium by Slovenians Ivan Vakhrushev SLO (3-16-4-27) and Benjamin Aganovic SLO (7-15-7-23) with 23 and 29 points respectively.

ILCA 6 Women – Overall results
Ukranian sailor Sofiia Naumenko UKR was ILCA 6 Women’s overall champion with 15 points after her 3-6-6 score in POL-HUN-CRO. Carla de Carina CRO (2-12-4) and Klara Himmelova CZE (6-13-9-7) were 2nd and 3rd overall respectively.

ILCA 7 – Overall results
A second brand new sail will also fly to Ukrania, this time for the ILCA 7 overall winner Ivan Zhukalin UKR who wrapped the championship with a 5-4-8 in his 3 participations in SLO-HUN-CRO. Anton Guilmin FRA (3-1-34DNC) and Jakub Halouza CZE (2-4-34DNC) escorted the champion on podium.
