Fourth race day done at the 2022 EurILCA Under 21 European Championships & Open European Trophy in Hourtin, France. The event is organised by Club Voile Hourtin Medoc, with the support of the Municipality of Hourtin.
All 3 fleets were sent to the course on time at 11:00 to start the racing at 12:00 as per scheduled, but the unstable wind conditions made the Race Committee to raise the AP for 1:30 hour on water.
The girls started their first race around 13:30, while the rain came in, but had to be abandoned due to a big wind shift.
The rain got heavier later but in return the wind became more stable and all the 6 scheduled races could be completed.
