The 2022 EurILCA Europa Cup Trophy succesfully concluded last week with the final event in Hvar, Croatia.
After all 10 scheduled regattas in Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Montenegro and Croatia, the final overall ranking was completed and sorted considering the 3 best scores achieved by the sailors during the year.
It was definitely a great annual competition, with almost 1500 ILCA 4, ILCA 6 and ILCA 7 participants from all around Europe.
The EurILCA Europa Cup Trophy is meant to be a good step for our European sailors to prepare for the European and World championships, as there are a lot of athletes from different countries attending the events.
2022 Overall winners
In line with it, EurILCA rewards the top sailors in each of 5 classes with a brand new sail, with the aim of helping them to continue improving their performance.
The overall champions and winners of a brand new sail this year were finally the following:
- Linda Dokoupilova CZE – ILCA 4 Women
- Ivan Antipin UKR – ILCA 4 Men
- Sofiia Naumenko UKR – ILCA 6 Women
- Tedi Leonardelli CRO – ILCA 6 Men
- Oskar Madonich UKR – ILCA 7
